Nike is using their lifetime commitment to Kevin Durant with a slew of releases, new and old. While the KD 16, Durant's latest signature shoe, is on the market, Nike has blessed fans with some of Easy Money Sniper's earlier models. The Nike KD 3 retro line is surging in 2023, with All-Star, Easy Money, Creme de la Creme, Aunt Pearl, and Christmas pairs being well-received. In 2024, Nike is set to bring the Nike KD 4 back from the vault with an all-new Year of The Dragon iteration and the coveted All-Star Galaxy edition. Adding to this list is the highly sought-after Nike KD 4 Weatherman.
Originally released in December of 2011, the Nike KD 4 Weatherman saw a very small retail release at select retailers, selling out instantly. It was made to pay homage to Kevin Durant's childhood dream of becoming a weatherman on the news. For the 2024 iteration, the sneaker will remain faithful to the OG, coming in a lush green, volt, black, and team orange colorway. The green-based upper is complemented by black accents and a volt Swoosh on the strap. The main detail on this pair is the radar-like graphic seen throughout the back half of the sneaker, on the mid-foot strap, and underneath the outsole.
The Nike KD 4 Weatherman was originally set to release on May 2, 2024. After a slight delay, they will now drop on May 21 through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $130.
