Nike has forever been known to work with some of the greatest tastemakers and experts in each partner's respective fields - jewelry included. Mostly working with Swarovski on crystal-covered silhouettes, we can confirm the iconic Tiffany & Co. that inspired the colorway of the classic Diamond Supply Co. collab back in 2005 will officially collaborate on the Air Force 1 on the upcoming Tiffany & Co. x Air Force 1 Low “1837.”
Unlike the many Swavorski-covered sneakers we’ve seen from The Swoosh, Nike and Tiffany & Co. keep things simple (and jewel free) with an all-black nubuck upper with tiffany blue taking over the tumbled leather Swoosh. Considering the “1837” moniker, the sneaker's simple construction coincides with Tiffany's 1837 lineup that nods to the founding of the brand and takes a minimalistic approach to jewelry designs. Tonal black laces run up the same colored eyestays and tongue and stop just below the embroidered “Tiffany” text up top. Back on the heel, you’ll find the typical “Nike Air” embroidery, however, a sterling silver Tiffany & Co.-branded bar is located just below this. Also seen in these very early photos are extra sets of laces with a tiffany blue and a yellow set included. Rounding out the design of the silhouette is a black-on-black midsole and outsole. On top of the sneaker, Tiffany & Co. will be releasing sterling silver accessories separate from the AF1, including a toothbrush, whistle, shoe horn, and lace dubraes, that will retail between $250 and $400.
The Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 Low 1837 is set to release on March 7th, 2023 in limited quantities. Releasing through Tiffany & Co., Nike, and select retailers, the pair will be available in men’s sizing for a retail price of $400. Check below for release information via Tiffany's.
