Travis Scott has a long-standing partnership with Nike and Jordan Brand that has resulted in some of the most coveted sneakers in recent memory. His Cactus Jack imprint has reimagined various Nike and Jordan Brand silhouettes, including the iconic Air Max 1. This week, Scott also debuted a special cleat variant of his Cactus Jack Air Max 1 at aHouston Astros game.
The custom Cactus Jack Air Max 1 cleats maintain the aesthetic of Scott's Air Max 1 design, specifically the “Baroque Brown” colorway, with its earthy tones and mixed-material construction. However, the sneaker's traditional sole has been swapped for a cleat configuration, making it suitable for the baseball diamond. On top of wearing the cleats during batting practice and other pre-game activities, Travis played his upcoming album Utopia in the Astros locker room and hinted it's currently in the mixing and mastering stage.
Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Air Max 1 cleats should remain a unique one-of-one for the superstar rapper. The rollout for Utopia, however, could signal another sneaker collaboration hitting shelves soon.
