The partnership between Travis Scott and Nike continues to set the bar high. With every release, fans eagerly anticipate the unique twist the Houston rapper will bring to iconic silhouettes. Many speculated that Scott would work on the model as the Mac Attack began its comeback, as he sported OG pairs well before Nike officially revived the sneaker. This speculation came true, and in December last year, we got the Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack. A new sample of Travis Scott’s iteration of the Nike Mac Attack surfaced online.
This version adheres to the color scheme on the OG Mac Attack and Travis's take but introduces a subtle yet significant change: replacing the grey mesh on the midfoot with black. The sample retains the original’s beloved elements, such as the grey leather overlays, the iconic checkerboard tongue, and Travis’ touch via the reverse Swoosh and Cactus Jack text on the heel. The design is completed with a white midsole and a black outsole, differing from the retail version's grey finish on the latter.
The pictured Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack sample has no plans to be released and was likely produced in the making of the version we received last December.
