Under Armour and TUFF CROWD are teaming up again to bring a new collection inspired by the prestigious Elite 24 event. Founded by NBA trailblazer Brandon Jennings, TUFF CROWD is known for its luxury streetwear and lifestyle products. This collaboration is particularly significant as it celebrates UA Basketball’s marquee grassroots event, Elite 24, which showcases the country's best high school boys and girls basketball players. Jennings, Co-MVP of the first-ever Elite 24 Game in 2006 and its second iteration in 2007, wanted to create a collection that captures the spirit and grit of NYC's basketball community while sharing his journey with the next generation of athletes. Previously, TUFF CROWD teamed up with Steph Curry on the Curry 11.
The TUFF CROWD x Under Armour Elite 24 Collection includes an impressive array of footwear, apparel, and accessories. The collection introduces new footwear silhouettes, such as the Anatomix Court lifestyle shoe, which debuts in a Bone colorway and features a molded Doberman logo along the heel and custom lace locks. This shoe is slated for a wider release by Under Armour in 2025. Additionally, the collection highlights key current UA styles, including the Apparition retro runner and the inventive FUTR X 4 basketball shoe. Each shoe in the collection incorporates TUFF CROWD detailing, including its signature black and red colorway, Doberman logo, and additional branding.
The apparel collection is equally impressive, featuring 11 pieces that include a jacket, hoody, vest, tees, pants, socks, and headwear. The designs prominently showcase TUFF CROWD’s signature barbed wire motif, brought to life with a new double UA logo lockup across all items and dual Doberman and UA logo labels. The collection includes three travel accessories: a duffle bag, backpack, and crossbody bag.
Athletes competing in Elite 24 this year will receive the full exclusive UA x TUFF CROWD footwear and apparel collection, a special Invite Only shirt, and a custom Letterman Jacket. This collaboration celebrates the gritty and hostile edge players bring to the Elite 24 stage and pays homage to the NYC sneaker and hoops community.
The TUFF CROWD x Under Armour Elite 24 Collection will release on August 10, 2024, exclusively via TUFF CROWD's website. The collection will be available in limited quantities, with prices ranging between $55 and $150.
