Under Armour Celebrates March Madness With Hoopnotic Collection of Sneakers
Published
Selection Sunday is behind us, and we know the whole picture for the upcoming March Madness basketball tournament. Between the men’s and women’s tournaments, Under Armour sponsors 27 teams, meaning you’ll more than likely see the brand’s footwear on the court. To celebrate these schools and the student-athletes, the brand is dropping a collection of sneakers dubbed Hoopnotic that will be worn by some of the schools in the tournament.
This Hoopnotic Collection includes the FUTR x Elite, FUTR x 4, and Spawn 7 performance basketball sneakers, each sticking to a purple, black, and pink color palette. Hypnotic spirals are found on various portions of the models, like on the lateral toe and cross straps of the FUTR x 4 and on the insoles of the other two models. All three sneakers retain their performance-oriented construction and features, like the UA HOVR+ cushioning of the Spawn 7, the UA Flow midsole and IntelliKnit upper on the FUTR x Elite, and the UA Flow cushioning of the FUTR x 4.

Alongside the sneakers, Under Armour has crafted an apparel collection that plays into the brand’s upcoming “Nothing Mad About It” campaign, highlighting the various schools it represents in this year’s tournament. Athletes will get special “Doubt Us” shooting shirts that lean into the campaign surrounding Under Armour schools.
The Under Armour Hoopnotic Collection is now available online through Under Armour. Available in unisex sizing, the sneakers' retail price is $120 (Spawn 7) and $150 (UA FUTR x Elite).
