While many lauded the fact that Steph Curry chose to sign with Under Armour back in 2014, the Golden State Warriors superstar has continued to rock UA and release a new silhouette almost yearly, even recently FloTro’ing previously released models in updated tech like the Curry 4. Just ahead of the 2022-2023 NBA season we’re getting our first looks at the newest iteration of the line with the Under Armour Curry 10, launching in the "Iron Sharpens Iron" colorway.
Taking cues from the Curry 9, the silhouette is covered in a mesh-like material while the heel and toebox get fused overlays to reinforce the structure of the basketball-ready model. In this black and multi-color iteration, what appears like rays of light shoot down from the suede eyestays to the midsole, and pass over black stitching details that run horizontally across the profile from heel to toe. Two-tone neon green and black laces run up the mesh tongue towards a Curry branded pull-tab atop the tongue with this same design detail found back on the heel. Underfoot, the lightweight UA Flow cushioning system gets covered in white, providing both immaculate comfort and insane grip when worn on the court. Rounding out the look is the grooved outsole with an “X” pattern that reveals the midfoot shank.
The Under Armour Curry 10 Iron Sharpens Iron is set to release on October 21st, 2022 through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's and gradeschool sizing, retail is TBA.
