Undercover is certainly no stranger when it comes to Nike collaborations. At the end of last year, the Jun Takahashi-helmed label celebrated 40 years of the AF1 with a special Air Force 1 project, and now, it has its sights set on the Air Moc silhouette. A sneaker-moccasin hybrid that debuted all the way back in 1994, the Japanese brand has added its own rebellious twist with the Undercover x Nike Moc Flow SP "Light Bone." Previously revealed in its Fall/Winter 2022 "Psychophilia" lookbook, here's everything that we know so far.
Debuting in a crisp light bone color palette, Undercover totally reworks the Air Moc from the ground up for this special release. Featuring a sock-like leather upper, the collar has been padded for extra comfort, and it's secured with a toggle switch around the heel, offering a utilitarian aesthetic that's unmistakably Jun Takahashi. Soft rubber elements make their way throughout the Moc Flow for an avant-garde look, and all of this sits on top of a speckled midsole that's crafted from React foam. As if this wasn't eye-catching enough already, "CHAOS AND BALANCE" surrounds the back in a fiery university red. This is a common Undercover motif that has been used in previous collections, most recently on its Dunk High 85 pack from last February.
Scheduled to release sometime on February 15th, 2023, the Undercover x Nike Moc Flow SP Light Bone will be available in men's sizes via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers online and in physical locations for $160.
