Steven Victor has long been associated with some of the hip-hop and design world’s top acts, holding close relationships with Nigo, Pharrell Williams, Pusha-T, Ye, Lil Uzi Vert, and many more. Now that his friend Nigo is working with Nike, dropping multiple colorways of the Air Force 3, Victor has begun to team up with The Swoosh on footwear projects, teasing us by giving friends and family pairs of his Victor Victor x Nike Air Force 1. Once again showing us pairs of the elusive collab, Steven Victor teased us at a potential pair that could hit retail shelves in 2025 — a Victor Victor x Nike Air Max DN8.
While these early images don’t fully showcase the sneaker, we do look at the insole and inside the tongue. Lucky for us, the size label is visible in one of the photos, confirming the Air Max branding throughout is for the upcoming Air Max DN8, which is the follow-up to this year’s Air Max DN. Branding details for Air Max and Victor Victor are plastered across the insole, showcasing a retro-inspired font and graphic and housing Victor Victor’s Japanese Tosa logo, which was designed by Nigo, on the inside of the tongue.
Nike has big plans for the DN8 next year, offering the new model in various colorways at the start of 2025, including pairs that will drop on Air Max Day in March. There is also a rumor that Nike has tapped Palace to work on the silhouette in the Holiday 2025 season, marking the first collaboration between the storied UK-based streetwear label and The Swoosh. Adding Victor Victor to the mix could help bring energy to the DN8 lineup.
The Victor Victor x Nike Air Max DN8 will possibly release in Fall 2025 through Victor Victor’s website and possibly via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
