The collaboration between Wales Bonner and adidas has ushered in a new era for the iconic Samba silhouette. This UK-based designer's initial touch on the model in November 2020 signaled the beginning of an influential partnership. As Wales Bonner's label flourished and expanded its horizons, the bond with adidas has remained unshaken. The designer's recent Jamaican-inspired collection breathed fresh life into the Samba, and now, fans eagerly anticipate the unveiling of another collaboration. This latest collection will take on four new colorways of the adidas Samba with Bonner’s distinct touch.

So far, only images of the Fox Brown Samba have emerged, which features nylon fabric, setting a distinct backdrop for the overlaying suede in matching tones. Complementary sandy beige leather adorns the iconic Three Stripes, heel tab, and the subtly placed Wales Bonner text on the shoe's lateral heel. More branding is prominently displayed on the shoe's elongated flipped tongue and the lace aglets. Bringing a splash of color to the otherwise earthy palette, the interior boasts a striking lucky blue leather sockliner. The near-black gum rubber sole finishes off the design, grounding the shoe in its classic roots.

The Wales Bonner x adidas Samba Collection will release November 8, 2023 via Wales Bonner, adidas, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $180 for the Fox Brown colorway, $200 for the White Mystery Brown and Cream White, and $220 for the Dark Brown.
