Zack Bia, known for his deep connections in the music industry, is making waves in the sneaker world. The DJ-turned-record-company-owner has already garnered attention with PE colorways of the Nike Air Max Pulse and a Nike KD 16 collab. While those pairs never hit retail, Bia’s Field Trip Recordings label is teaming up with Asics to drop a Gel-Kayano 14.
This collaboration features a striking two-tone design, perfect for those who appreciate a blend of style and performance. The leather and mesh upper showcase various green hues, with dark green leather adorning the toe and midfoot. The iconic Asics tiger stripes on the midfoot come in a lighter green that complements the mesh base.
The lace set also comes in dark green, adding to the bold design. Pops of yellow on the lateral heel highlight the Field Trip Recordings branding on the right shoe and Gel-Kayano 14 on the left. The top of the tongue features a logo for Field Trip Recordings on the left shoe, while the right retains the standard Gel-Kayano 14 logo. The look is completed with a blue foam midsole and a matching blue rubber outsole, ensuring comfort and durability.
The Field Trip Recordings x Asics Gel-Kayano 14 is listed on Feature for a release on June 22, 2024. Zack Bia will be hosting a pop-up shop to celebrate the collaboration in Paris on June 22, with 150 pairs made available. If you happen to be in the City of Love, you can check out the pop-up at 139 Rue Du Temple, 75003 Paris, France. A wider release is slated for July 12, 2024.
Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
