Although he didn’t make this year’s NBA All-Star roster, Donovan Mitchell still participates in the festivities through his signature sneaker line with adidas. Joining labelmates Anthony Edwards and Damian Lillard, Mitchell’s DON Issue 6 is getting a new colorway launching during the week of All-Star.
While we previously saw the DON Issue 6 appear in a primarily lime green color scheme in the past, that being the Panama rendition, this pair opts for a two-tone black and lime look with updated textures on the upper. On the base, we see a textured dot pattern spread across the toe and work back to the heel, passing by the metallic silver Three Stripes on the midfoot. More metallic silver is present on the border of the upper's top half, separating the sneaker's lime and black portions.
On the top, a black neoprene lines the black mesh tongue and internal heel counter, with contrast coming via the 3M-laden nylon lace loops and Donovan’s Spida logo atop the pull tab on the tongue. For the heel pull tab, the DON text is present in a tonal black finish. Completing the sneaker is the lime foam midsole containing Lightstrike cushioning and a black faux carbon fiber midfoot shank alongside a lime green rubber outsole.
The adidas DON Issue 6 All-Star will release on February 15, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
