Regarding the Air Jordan 1, Jordan Brand has been retooling it over the past 10+ years. Aiming to get it as close to its original 1985 look as possible, the Air Jordan 1 '85 version is the most accurate. Coming in high-top and low-top, the Air Jordan 1 '85 releases still pique fans' interest even as the Air Jordan 1 OG style is still experiencing a downfall in popularity. For Spring 2025, Jordan Brand is bringing a coveted, original colorway of the AJ 1 back, converting it onto the Air Jordan 1 Low 85 for the first time.
After mostly negative views from sneakerheads, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Reimagined Royal didn't hit like Jordan Brand thought it would. This was due to the all-suede upper instead of the all-leather featured on the original. However, if you're an AJ 1 Low fan and love the Royals, JB has you covered with the Air Jordan 1 Low 85 Royal.

True to the OG, this pair sports an all-leather upper comprised of black with varsity royal accents in the shape of the original AJ 1 from 1985. However, this pair will feature metallic accents via the Swoosh and back heel tab, a first for the AJ 1 Royal. An aged midsole and solid rubber outsole in royal blue complete the look.
The Air Jordan 1 Low 85 Royal was canceled, but now pairs have begun to appear at select retailers across the globe. As of this writing, The Whitaker Group storefronts, including A Ma Maniere, Social Status, and APB, have raffles for the sneakers.
Following this, official Nike images of the pair loaded, indicating a Nike SNKRS drop is imminent. Available in men's sizing, retail is set at $160. Be sure to download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay informed about this release and other exciting news in the sneaker and streetwear world.
