In 1984, a young Michael Jordan laced up his Air Jordan 1s for the first time in an NBA game, with the public getting a shot at owning pairs in 1985. Now, in 2025, his signature sneaker line is worth billions of dollars and has forever changed how we consume and approach sneakers. As part of the overarching 40th-anniversary celebrations, which include multiple OG colorways across the Jordan Brand lineup returning, we’re getting a new release for the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Chicago.
The last time Jordan Brand released the Chicago colorway in the OG low-top form was in 2016, but since then, the shape and design of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG have changed. This new version has a slightly different shaped Swoosh but will come in the same iconic color palette and colorblocking we’ve come to know and love from the Bulls-themed colorway. Varsity red leather appears on the leather mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, while the base comes in white leather.

Black accents pop on the lace set, sockliner, and Swoosh, while the Nike Air logo on the red woven tongue label takes on a white finish. Down below, the silhouette comes with a white rubber midsole and a varsity red rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Chicago will release in Holiday 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is $140 for men’s pairs. Kids pairs will retail for $120 (GS), $80 (PS), and $65 (TD).
