The last few years have seen interest in Jordan Retros diminish compared to the hype and fervor surrounding them in the first half of the 2020s. While quite a few factors led to this, we’re focusing on the brand's future, which looks bright for collectors and fans of OG colorways, as various original renditions are returning in 2025. Fans of the Jordan 12 can rejoice as the original Taxi colorway is making a comeback.
Joining the extensive Holiday 2025 lineup, which includes pairs like the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High Alaska, Jordan 11 Gamma, and more, the pair will take on its original white, black, and taxi color palette. Black faux reptile skin lines the mudguard and midfoot panel on the medial side, while the quilted tumbled leather upper is finished in white. Black details extend onto the Jumpmand and Two 3 branding, the Jordan-branded heel tab, and the sockliner.

Adding some pop of color to the two-tone upper are metallic gold hits along the Jumpman-laden metallic eyelets. Completing the upper is the Jumpman tab on the midfoot, which comes in black, unlike the Taxi Flip, which added red to this logo. Below, the model is finished with a black and white foam midsole and a red, black, and white rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Taxi will release in Holiday 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is $210 for men’s pairs. Kids pairs will retail for $160 (GS), $100 (PS), and $85 (TD).
