Since being introduced via collaboration with BMXer and Jordan Brand athlete Nigel Sylvester, the Air Jordan 4 RM has appeared in new makeovers. Some initial offerings lean into modern-day color palettes; however, Jordan Brand plans to offer various colors on the sneaker that serve as callbacks to some iconic Air Jordan 4 colorways. Following looks at pairs like the SB AJ4-inspired Pine Green rendition and the Fire Red-inspired colorway, a Motorsport-adjacent iteration of the AJ4 RM has appeared.
This pair isn’t the only upcoming Jordan Brand release inspired by the iconic Air Jordan 4 Motorsports, which, for the uninitiated, was once an exclusive colorway made for Michael Jordan’s racing team in the mid-2000s that hit shelves in the 2010s. Luka Doncic’s upcoming Jordan Luka 3 Motorsports also borrows heavily from the aesthetic of the colorway, especially considering the Luka 3’s design takes inspiration from high-performance sports cars.

As for this Air Jordan 4 RM, the same white, blue, and black color palette is applied here, with suede details covering the vamp and mudguard in a greyish-white finish, stark white accents pop on the lace set, canvas midfoot, and leather heel. In contrast, the leather toebox and mesh tongue are finished in black. Deep royal blue covers the midfoot TPU cage, extending back to create the Nike Air-branded heel tab.
Other details on the model include the deep royal blue Jumpman logo on the black suede tongue tag, white Nike Air branding, and a black finish to the sockliner. Down below, the midsole ventures from the original Air Jordan 4 Motorsports, coming cloaked in all-black sans the exposed Air unit in the heel. Finishing the design is the black and blue rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 4 RM Motorsports will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $150.
