New Balance has continued to innovate with its 1906 series, a line that has gained significant popularity since its reintroduction in 2022. The Boston-based brand has expanded the lineup with various iterations, including the 1906A and 1906U. New Balance is adding a new twist with the 1906L, a loafer version of the classic mesh runner. Following up on sell-outs of pairs like the Black, Silver Metallic Black, and Silver Metallic Dark Juniper, a classic Silver Metallic Cream has appeared.
The New Balance 1906L Loafer Silver Metallic Cream combines modern aesthetics with retro elements, showcasing a blend of premium materials that mimics the OG retro colorway from 2022. The sneaker features a white mesh base, providing breathability and comfort, while metallic silver leather overlays dominate the mudguard, midfoot, collar, and forefoot strap. Accents of black and gold line the panels on the midfoot, adding a touch of luxury to the design.

Unique to the loafer version, the traditional N logo on the midfoot is moved to the toe, enhancing the sneaker's sleek look. The 1906L branding is prominently displayed on the lateral heel. Completing the design is a cream, black, and grey midsole paired with a grey and black rubber outsole, ensuring durability and traction.
The New Balance 1906L Loafer Silver Metallic Cream will release April 16, 2025, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
