New Balance has been riding a wave of success in recent years, bolstered by a robust portfolio of classic and innovative models. With a remarkable 20% increase in revenue in 2024, reaching $7.8 billion, the brand's resurgence has been fueled by the popularity of its mesh runners like the 2002R and 1906R. While these archival models were retooled to fit modern trends, the brand has begun exploring new territories with this niche, teasing us with sneakers like the New Balance 2000. Now, after Kith helped give us a first look at the upcoming New Balance 2010, images of the Brown Olive Black rendition have emerged.
Blending premium design elements from the 99X series while keeping the formula of a 2010s runner, the New Balance 2010 showcases a sophisticated design that merges premium materials and contemporary aesthetics. Rich suede overlays in a warm brown hue cover the mudguard, midfoot panel, and heel. Beneath this luxurious overlay, an olive green jersey mesh base provides breathability and a subtle color contrast.

Black textured nubuck accents the toe, midfoot, and collar, while the iconic N logo is rendered in grey. The lace set comes in a matching olive tone. More NB logos are on the tongue and insole, the latter containing logos for the 2010 model. Underfoot sits a tonal foam midsole that contains ABZORB cushioning in the heel for comfort and a rubber outsole in a black hue.
The New Balance 2010 Brown Olive Black will release in 2025 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail pricing has yet to be announced.
