Nike SB’s historic run throughout the 2020s has seen Nike’s skateboarding division partner with several skate shops, team riders, and outside collaborators on the SB Dunk Low. For the latest skate shop-led project, California-based shop Arts-Rec is getting its colorway of the SB Dunk Low that features exotic materials.
Covering the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay is a safari-esque cheetah print, likely an homage to the iconic print that has graced a variety of SB Dunks and Nike Sportswear Dunks over the years. Most recently, Nike SB used safari print on the Olympics-inspired SB Dunks from last summer, though its most famous use case came in 2020 when the inline Safari colorway was released, itself inspired by the famous atmos x Nike Air Max 1. Alongside the exotic print is a textured tumbled leather on the midfoot panel, coming in green, and a hairy suede Swoosh in orange.

Straying from the earthy hues are the toebox and collar, both coated in pink suede. Black details on the tongue, lace set, sockliner, and heel tab ground the color palette. Finishing touches include the Arts-Rec branding details on the lateral heel and heel tab, the cream rubber midsole, and the black rubber outsole.
The Arts-Rec x Nike SB Dunk Low will release in Fall 2025 through Arts-Rec, select Nike SB-affiliated skate shops, and possibly via Nike SNKRS online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
