Ja Morant has made explosive highlight plays look like a regular day's work, doing so in recent years wearing his signature sneaker line with Nike. One such highlight occurred during the 2022 NBA Playoffs (back when Ja was rocking the Nike Kobe 6), when Ja dunked over Malik Beasley, making Ian Eagle exclaim, “Ja-Breaker!” This call and Morant's love for Jawbreaker candy have inspired the latest colorway of the Nike Ja 2.
Like the candy, the entire upper is bathed in a soothing white hue, splattered with a multi-color barrage of paint. This coats the mudguard, mesh toebox and medial midfoot, synthetic molded lateral midfoot, the laces, tongue, and heel. A gradient yellow Swoosh on the lateral side contrasts with the white look, transitioning from yellow to white as you move back.

Other accents come in the Ja logos atop the tongue, rendered in light grey, the medial midfoot Swoosh in black, and the 12:AM text embroidered in black on the heel. Inside, the insole sits a Nike PE-branded design, the same one found in other pairs like Jewell Loyd’s GT Cut 3. Underfoot sits a white midsole covered in the multi-color splatter paint finish, a clear white rubber outsole revealing more splatter paint, and a black Swoosh in the midfoot.
The Nike Ja 2 Ja-Breaker PE will release on May 1, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $140.
