Championing female athletes has become a major priority for Nike, most recently shown through the brand’s first Super Bowl ad in 27 years. Although Jewell Loyd was not featured in the advertisement, she embodies Nike’s “So Win” attitude. The WNBA star is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who earned the nickname Gold Mamba thanks to the late-great Kobe Bryant. Now, Loyd is getting her second Nike GT Cut 3 PE.
Previously drawing inspiration from her best friend’s son, Justice, who helped design her GT Cut 3 that hit shelves in 2024, this PE, which she sported throughout the last WNBA season, continues the vibrant multi-color appearance. This time, a splatter paint mixture of primary covers is found throughout the textile and suede silhouette. A muted appearance is reserved for the tongue and toe box, while the textile panels and sole unit are all coated in a bright, in-your-face shade.

Solid hits of color are found on the Swoosh, which itself comes in white and is outlined in blue, along the lace set and pull tab, both in the same blue from the Swoosh outline and an icy blue on the mesh sockliner. Inside, the insole features a “1 Of 1” logo that states “Player Exclusive. Not For Resale,” something found on many PE colors made for Nike athletes. Final details include the quote “Go be great!” which was also present on the pair designed by Loyd’s best friend’s son and the multi-color ZoomX-cushioned foam midsole and rubber outsole.
Jewell Loyd’s Nike GT Cut 3 Multi-Color PE will release on April 4, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
