After debuting its latest innovation in recovery footwear, the ReactX Rejuven8, over the summer at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Nike finally released the model to little fanfare at the start of the new year. After a month on the market, the Rejuven8 went mega-viral on TikTok and social media, causing pairs to fly off shelves and subsequent drops and restocks to sell out in the blink of an eye. While we look forward to many new colorways on the model, Nike will bring another variant to the ReactX Rejuven8 family as it has become a slide.
Unlike the standard ReactX Rejuven8, which comes with an enclosed design that wraps around the ankle, this slide version obviously takes on the construction of a slide. The open-back allows for an easy on-and-off experience, while the forefoot removes the perforations in favor of a solid ReactX foam strap. Of course, the slide features an opening on the toe like a standard pair. As for the color of this pair, the entire thing is dipped in a dark black shade.

Aside from the change in shape, the full ReactX foam construction remains, as does the textured footbed, molded upper, and Swoosh logos on the midfoot. Below, the same sticky rubber outsole from the regular ReactX Rejuven8 remains.
The Nike ReactX Rejuven8 Slide Black will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $60.
