The mesh runner craze is still strong, although it is not as hot as in 2024. Nike still has plenty of new colorways across its Y2K and 2010-inspired runners lineup, specifically with the Zoom Vomero 5. For Summer 2025, the sneaker is getting a clean two-tone Black Pink Blast combo.
Maintaining its multi-material upper, we see a mixture of nubuck, leather, TPU, and mesh throughout the design. Most of the silhouette is dipped in black, partially accented by grey anthracite shades on select portions. This includes the mesh base layer, leather and nubuck overlays, and the TPU cages on the midfoot and heel.

Our first pink pop is on the Nike Vomero 5-branded tongue tag, but the upper layer maintains the darker palette. We see a metallic platinum finish for the Swoosh, matching the 3M coated strips along the mudguard, midfoot, and collar. Below, the tri-tone midsole featuring Zoom Air and Cushlon foam comes in black, pink, and anthracite, matching the rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Black Pink Blast will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
