All the love in the Air Force family goes to the original, the Nike Air Force 1, but NIGO decided his debut Nike project would tackle the more underground Nike Air Force 3 silhouette. Since the first colorways launched in September last year, we’ve seen the Japanese streetwear titan work on multiple new colorways and have reports of an upcoming pack slated to launch later in the year. Now, official images of a Black Croc version of NIGO’s AF3 have appeared.
Flipping the script on the White Metallic Gold version, this Black Croc iteration features a primarily black upper accented by hits of white on select portions of the design. Black faux croc skin is present on the mudguard, midfoot overlay, eyelets, and heel overlay, while black perforated leather takes over the base layer. Moving up, we see a bedazzled metallic silver Nike logo attached to the lacing system via a tonal chain, contrasting the dark hues surrounding it.
White accents make a home on the Swoosh and tongue tag branding, while we see hits of metallic silver on the basketball/vinyl record graphics on the tongue and the custom graphic on the insole. Finishing the upper is the metallic silver heel tab that splits Nike Air and Nigo Force branding between the left and right pair. Underfoot sits a black and white Air Force 3 midsole and a tonal outsole.
The NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Black Croc will release on April 24, 2025, through Nike SNKRS and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
