Nike’s quietly in the midst of retroing the Air Max Uptempo 95. First, the brand released the OG White Black Teal colorway and will soon follow this up with Lakers, Bulls, and White Photo Blue Black colorways during Summer 2025. For the latter half of the year, Sole Retriever can confirm that The Swoosh is bringing back the Black Volt colorway.
Retaining the same construction and look as the last release for the Air Max Uptempo 95 Black Volt, which took place in 2019, the pair will come with a primarily black color scheme accented by volt hits throughout. Black patent leather makes up the mudguard, while the base layer is black nubuck material. Moving up, we see more black shades on the tongue and lace set.
The first hits of volt green are found on the eyelet branding details, which include a Swoosh on the lower eyelet and the word “AIR” spelled out on the rest of the patches. The Swoosh on the midfoot comes outlined in a volt textile, matching the shade used on the tongue’s logo. Final details include a volt Air Uptempo logo on the heel tab, black foam on the midsole, and volt green on the Air units.
The Nike Air Max Uptempo 95 Black Volt will release in Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
