Reebok’s reentry into the performance basketball space was marked by the release of the brand’s first new basketball sneaker in over a decade — the Reebok Engine A. Following up on the Metallic Silver colorway and the multiple PEs made for Matas Buzelis is a new Solar Lime rendition.
Across the entire lineup of Engine A colorways launching throughout Spring/Summer 2025, Reebok took inspiration from the light and colors we see during a full day, from sunup to sundown. This Solar Lime rendition pays homage to our past, specifically through the electric colors of "twilight zone,” as Michael Hesterberg, Director of Design at Reebok, puts it, reimagined as a visual metaphor for night vision. Otherworldly neon and alien greens coat the overlays, while a black mesh base pops on the various cutouts across the upper.

Reebok branding is featured on the tongue tag through the embroidered Vector logo and ERS patch and back on the green felt suede heel counter via a black embroidered Vector logo. Underfoot, the sneaker continues with the solar lime hues as the SuperFloat foam midsole is coated in this shade, contrasted by the grey ERS unit near the heel. Finishing the sneaker is the split black and green outsole.
The Reebok Engine A Solar Lime will release on March 28, 2025, through Reebok online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
