Reebok’s Basketball division is undergoing a rebirth under the leadership of Shaq and Allen Iverson, two of the brand’s most iconic athletes. Not only are we getting new performance basketball models like the Reebok Engine A, marking the first new sneaker from Reebok Basketball in over a decade, but signature models from Angel Reese. Even with this push into the performance category, we can expect plenty of retro basketball releases from the label, including the upcoming Reebok Shaqnosis in Washed Black.
Marking the first Shaqnosis retro since Brain Dead’s take on the sneaker back in 2022, this Washed Black iteration adds a contemporary color palette to the ‘90s hoop shoe. Circular suede details, which are directly inspired by hypnotic swirls, come in a washed black, almost olive green finish that contrasts the chalk white cracked suede on the base layer below. More of this black hue is present on the tongue, which features Shaq’s Dunkman logo on the vamp and the Reebok Vector logo on the tongue tag, while the hiking-inspired lace set comes in washed black and white.

More of Shaq’s branding is located on the heel, continuing the Dunkman logo motif, while the Vector logo on the midfoot contrasts the two-tone look of the sneaker with its use of blue textiles. Below sits a white and washed black foam midsole containing Hexalite+ cushioning and a cream, black, and blue rubber outsole.
The Reebok Shaqnosis Washed Black will release on April 3, 2025, through Reebok online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $150. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
