Although the world of hype-driven sneakerheads may not have been familiar with Saucony before Jae Tips’ collaborative efforts with the heritage running brand, they’ve long been partnering with creatives to add energy to their lineup. Following the success of previous partnerships, Jordan Page, the visionary behind Colour Plus Co., once again fuses his passion for textures, colors, and storytelling with Saucony’s athletic heritage as his brand is working on the recently revived Saucony Matrix OG.
Jordan Page dives deep into the Matrix OG’s design language for this third collaboration with Saucony, adding rich textures and striking details across the hairy suede uppers. Here, we see a deep, golden hue, giving the sneaker a premium look. Bold, multi-colored trek laces break up the monotone upper, adding a playful contrast that reflects Page’s eclectic style.

On the heel sit embroidered patches that include Colour Plus Co.'s branding and a peace sign. At the same time, the co-branded, raw-edged tongue introduces a deconstructed element that complements the sneaker's retro foundation. Alongside the hairy suede paneling sits a tightly woven mesh, adding more textural contrast to the upper through its raised bar designs. Finishing the sneaker are the black foam midsole and the gum rubber outsole, which features a green and black checkerboard plate in the center.
The Colour Plus Co. x Saucony Matrix Wheat will release on February 21, 2025, through Saucony and select retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $170 in men's sizing.
