When it comes to kids' kicks, Jordan Brand loves to throw in a bit more creativity regarding the color schemes. The latest Air Jordan retro to receive a kids’ exclusive makeover is the Jordan 5, appearing here in a peanut butter & jelly makeup.
While many food-inspired sneakers are often colorblocked to match the food item being honored, the AJ 5 Peanut Butter & Jelly deconstructs the staple sandwich, covering the upper in a light tan suede resembling white bread. Design motifs from the AJ 5 remain, like the midfoot cage, plastic netting along the tongue, and the lace lock, rendered in a strawberry jelly red hue to match the Jumpman atop the tongue. Two more red hits are found on the heel, via the Jumpman logos, and the red and purple Air Jordan tag on the inside of the tongue.

Underfoot is where the peanut butter & jelly sandwich guts find a home. Again, strawberry jelly red hues are found on the shark teeth-inspired overlays near the toe, while the foam midsole is coated in a peanut butter shade. Finishing the design is the grape jelly-shaded semi-translucent rubber outsole. This comes packaged in a special peanut butter & jelly-inspired box, oozing with the fillings on the sidewalls of the cardboard.
The Air Jordan 5 Retro Low Peanut Butter & Jelly GS will release on May 1, 2025, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in GS, PS, and TD sizing, the retail price is $140, $80, and $65, respectively.
