Colorado-based skateshop 303 Boards has teamed up with New Balance on a special edition Numeric 480. The collaboration continues beyond these two brands, as American illustrator and San Francisco-based artist Jeremy Fish has been tapped to expand it into a trio.
Paying homage to Fish's Silly Pink Bunny, the 303 Boards x Jeremy Fish x New Balance Numeric 480 Silly Pink Bunnies come in a brown and pink colorway. Drawing inspiration from Fish's design, the sneaker comprises premium materials such as leather, pigskin, and mesh, furthering the 80s/90s basketball vibe of the Numeric 480. Brown covers most of the sneaker, accented by mustard yellow and pale pink. Custom lace dubraes read SPB (Silly Pink Bunnies), and a custom keychain features a mashup of the 480 sneaker and the fictional animal. An aged midsole and gum rubber outsole finish things off for these Numeric 480s.
The 303 Boards x Jeremy Fish x New Balance Numeric 480 Silly Pink Bunnies will release on April 26, 2024, exclusively at 303 Boards Release Party, along with an online release. A wider drop through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store will follow on May 6. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
