The Above The Clouds x Asics GT-2160 Black and White Release August 2024

Australian sneaker boutique Above The Clouds launched what became an instant classic with Asics with its collaborative efforts on the Asics GT-2160. Their previous release, featuring a striking green colorway, quickly became a fan favorite. Hot on the heels of the Metallic Silver Brown pair, Above The Clouds is now set to launch two new iterations of the GT-2160 in classic Black and White hues.
The Black and White versions of the Above The Clouds x Asics GT-2160 feature the same high-quality construction as their predecessors. A semi-translucent TPU base is prominently displayed near the toe and midfoot, providing a modern and textured appearance. The wide-spaced mesh on the tongue, collar, and heel complements the overall design in tonal hues, adding to the sneaker's cohesive look. GT-2160 and GEL branding are subtly placed on the lateral heel and heel tab, respectively, in matching tones. The design is completed with a tonal Gel-cushioned midsole and outsole, ensuring comfort and style.
The Above The Clouds x Asics GT-2160 Black and White will release on August 22, 2024, through Above The Clouds. A wider release via Asics and select retailers online and in-store will take place on August 30. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
