The Story mfg. x Asics Gel-Venture 6 Pack Releases April 2025

Asics’ killer 2024 is extending into 2025 as the brand’s strategy of niche collaborations is playing out once more. Following the Japanese retailer’s recent link-up with Bandit and A.P.C., they’re heading to London to work with Story mfg. to produce two gingham-covered iterations of the Asics Gel-Venture 6.
Story mfg., founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife duo Saeed Al-Rubeyi and Katy Al-Rubeyi, has prioritized sustainability. It employs a slow-moving design process to limit its environmental impact, ensure ethical production, and create the highest-quality products possible. For the couple's first project with Asics, they've employed two different color schemes: one in reddish brown and the other in Vanilla Violet Quartz. Both pairs add gingham patterns to the overlays, while doubled-up lacing adds the same pattern to the secondary laces.
Outside of this, Story mfg.’s presence is found on the right shoe’s tongue tag, while the left shoe retains the standard Asics logos. Gel-Venture 6 branding is also plastered on the lateral heel. Finishing the design is the tonal Gel-cushioned midsole and outsole.
The Story mfg. x Asics Gel-Venture 6 Pack will release on April 18, 2025, through Story mfg., Asics, and select retailers online and in-store. Ahead of the global release, Story mfg. will host a free event on April 11 and 12, where they will sell pairs early, while their website will host an online release at 5:00 PM GMT (12:00 ET) on the 13th.
