Vandy The Pink Teases an Asics Collaboration
Published
One of the main reasons Asics has elevated its perception among sneakerheads is its timely collaborations, often partnering with tastemakers, designers, and brands rooted in the culture. This trend will continue in 2025 as the Japanese footwear brand will work with Vandy The Pink.
No stranger to footwear collaborations, Vandy, whose real name is Junghoon Son, has worked with Salomon and Clarks in recent years, bringing hamburger-inspired colorways to the Salomon Speedcross 3 and Clarks Wallabee. Outside the sneaker scene, Vandy’s inline apparel collection and collaborations with brands like Pokemon, Squid Game, and NBA 2K have only drawn more attention to his vibrant design language.
As for what Vandy is cooking up with Asics, all we have so far is a teaser image posted on his Instagram story, incorporating the Japanese footwear brand’s "A" logo into his logo. Considering the popularity of sneakers like the Gel-Kayano 14, Gel-Kayano 20, GT-2160, and Gel-1130, we will likely see the artist add his touch to one of these models, though your guess is as good as ours.
The Vandy The Pink x Asics collaboration will release sometime in 2025 through Asics, Vandy The Pink, and possibly select retailers online and in-store.
