Ader Error’s Converse Chuck 70 Ox and Wave Trainer Releases March 2025

Seoul-based fashion brand Ader Error may not be a massive force in the collaborative footwear game, but their projects with Converse have been solid. Beginning with a patchwork Chuck 70 Hi in January 2023, the label followed this up quickly with a two-pack of sneakers in the summer. Nearly two years after their last project, Ader Error returns to work with Converse on the Chuck 70 Ox and the Wave Trainer.
Starting with the classic Chuck 70 Ox, Ader Error recalls its original patchwork project with an added canvas patch on the lower eyestays. However, the construction remains identical to a standard pair. Most of the upper is coated in a white hue, contrasted by blue stitching details near the lower eyestay, the added stitching on the lateral heel, and the embroidered Ader Error logo on the medial heel. Finishing the sneaker is the scuffed white midsole featuring blue piping and the white rubber outsole.

Moving to the Wave Trainer, the silhouette comes covered in various materials, including hairy suede, short-haired suede, mesh, and leather, with most of the sneaker dressed in blue. This is applied to the fuzzy suede overlay on the mudguard and tongue, the suede paneling on the midfoot, and the added shroud that can be attached to the back half of the sneaker. The navy mesh on the base, the faded white and blue midsole, and Converse and Ader Error branding help complete the look.
The Ader Error x Converse Chuck 70 Ox and Wave Trainer will release in March 2025 through Converse, Nike SNKRS, Ader Error, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $100 for the Chuck 70 Ox and $140 for the Wave Trainer.
