If you were to tell sneakerheads that one of the best sneakers in 2024 would come from adidas Basketball, many would look at you crazy. However, adidas and Anthony Edwards have taken the sneaker world by storm with adidas AE 1 (now being titled the Anthony Edwards 1), with the model recently being introduced in a low-top form. While pairs like the AE 1 Slime pay homage to Ant's current NBA team, adidas is looking to honor Edwards' love for bowling with a three-pack of AE 1 Lows.
All three pairs in this AE 1 Low Bowling Pack feature a tonal Primeblue knit for the base layer, visible along the eyelets, collar, and heel, while the honeycomb generative support wing comes in a tonal shade to match. More tonal shades land on the lace set, pull tab, and faux carbon fiber heel tab. Pops of black appear on the Three Stripes along the heel and the Anthony Edwards logos on the tongue’s pull tab. The final tonal hues on the upper are located on the neoprene tongue and TPU toecap. Inside, the midsole contains two pucks of Lightboost, one near the heel and the other in the forefoot, while the outsole below comes with a marbled semi-translucent reminiscent of the pattern found on bowling balls.
The adidas AE 1 Low Bowling Pack will release in 2024 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, retail is set at $110.
