As we’ve covered recently, adidas is making major strides in the performance basketball market as The Three Stripes recently unveiled its basketball collection (and even a basketball-inspired Bad Bunny) that includes the newest entry in the adidas Crazy line - the Crazy IIInfinity. Alongside multiple colorways of this model, the adidas Crazy 1 is still set to receive new makeovers as a clean “Core Black” colorway was showcased during NBA All-Star Weekend.
Keeping its classic construction of synthetic foam across the upper and mesh on the interior, the “Core Black” colorway stays simple as the titular shade covers every piece of the model. Rubberized portions on the toe add reinforcement with the midfoot featuring a debossed Three Stripes logo. Tonal black laces work up the mesh tongue found in the same color with more adidas branding located at the top. Back on the heel, the Audi Roadster TT-inspiration the silhouette takes on is translated well through a spoiler similar to tail lights, this time coming in white. Underfoot sits a dark silver foam midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The adidas Crazy 1 Core Black is set to release in 2023 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the pair is expected to retail for $150.
