Damian Lillard made history last year when he signed a lifetime contract with adidas, becoming the first NBA player to become a lifelong member of The Three Stripes. Of course, with this signing, we can expect more signature sneakers and lifestyle collaborations from Dame. Sole Retriever was fortunate enough to receive an early in-hand look at his next signature model, the adidas Dame X, during NBA All-Star Weekend.
In October last year, Sole Retriever revealed 3D renderings of the sneaker and showcased an array of upcoming colorways, but this is our first in-hand look at a physical pair. The “Dames Light” colorway pictured here takes inspiration from his kids, who guide him and give him energy. More specifically, the colors chosen are his kids’ favorites. A 3D TPU provides zonal support, running the entire length of the upper and resting below the neoprene collar.

Beneath this sits a lightweight mesh, working in tandem with the puffy collar for a padded and breathable on-foot experience. Dame’s logo is placed prominently on the tongue, while adidas logos find a home on the toe and the heel tab. As for cushioning, the sneaker will feature LIGHTSTRIKE cushioning and a bottom-loaded Y-shank on the outsole for torsion support.
The adidas Dame X (Dame 10) will release June 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $90.
