Damian Lillard made history with adidas when he signed a lifetime contract with the German sportswear giant, marking the first time they’ve offered this type of deal to a basketball player. We should expect tons of product from the duo for the foreseeable future, but we’re awaiting the launch of his next signature sneaker, the adidas Dame X (10). After an early preview from Sole Retriever late last year, an in-hand look at the model from adidas at NBA All-Star Weekend, and an official look at the Core Black colorway, official images of the Dame 10 Butter have appeared.
The lightweight mesh base comes coated in a buttery, almost yellow hue, matching the look of the toecap and the 3D TPU overlays that span the length of the upper. These overlays provide zonal support for the sneaker and rest below the metallic silver Three Stripes logo on the black neoprene heel tab. More of this material takes over the collar and tongue, contrasted by preloved ink hues on the lace set and sockliner. Underfoot, the sneaker has a tonal, almost yellow midsole and outsole containing Lightstrike cushioning and a bottom-loaded Y-shank for torsion support.
The adidas Dame 10 Butter will release in September 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $90.
