The world of women's basketball footwear is about to experience a new level of innovation, thanks to adidas. With insights from elite female athletes and more casual players, the sports giant has introduced the Exhibit Select, a performance basketball shoe engineered specifically for the female foot. For its first colorway, adidas crafter a player-exclusive rendition for Candace Parker dubbed “Game Royalty.”
Candace Parker’s adidas Exhibit Select “Game Royalty” PE showcases vibrant shades across its mesh and neoprene upper. Violet hues rule the design and are accentuated by Candace's nickname, "Ace," placed in gold near the nylon strap. The signature Three Stripes branding appears in stark white on the midfoot.
Underneath the flashy exterior, the sneaker boasts an array of performance-enhancing features. A soft neoprene bootie molds to the foot, while an exposed window at midfoot provides breathability. The standout feature is a full-length Bounce cushioning system integrated into the midsole. This advanced cushioning is kept low to the ground and provides superior on-court precision and stability.
The adidas Exhibit Select Candace Parker PE (W) will release July 15 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
