James Harden's signature sneaker line with adidas has been a benchmark for performance basketball footwear for The Three Stripes for nearly a decade. Known for pushing the boundaries of design and innovation, Harden and adidas continue to set bring an avant-garde and love-it-or-hate-it design to the basketball world. Following the successful release of the Harden Vol. 8, anticipation is building for the next iteration in the series. As we await new colorways of the Vol. 8, including the striking Black Yellow and White Toe pairs, early images of the adidas Harden Vol. 9 have surfaced, showcasing an exciting new direction for the line.
The adidas Harden Vol. 9 Cyber Metallic continues the design evolution in performance basketball sneakers. The shoe features a knit sock bootie construction for a snug and supportive fit, with wavy panels running across the upper to reveal the knit along the midfoot and create a distinctive three-stripe pattern. This futuristic look is enhanced by a cyber metallic finish on the upper, contrasted by black on the knit bootie and midfoot. The midsole combines LightBoost and Lightstrike technologies, ensuring responsive cushioning and stability, complemented by a full-length torsion bar. A black and red outsole completes the design, providing excellent traction on the court.
The adidas Harden Vol. 9 Cyber Metallic will release in February 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
