What happens when you take one of adidas' most iconic silhouettes and fuse it with one of their most innovative technologies? Well, what you get is the brand new adidas Ultra 4D FWD "Wonder Taupe." If you squint your eyes, you'd easily assume that you were looking at an Ultraboost. Boasting a similar upper, the Ultra 4D FWD swaps out the usual Primeknit construction for a soft pink Primeknit+, which is infused with at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic. A matte caging system wraps around the lateral and medial sidewalls complete with metallic Three Stripe branding, and additional support is provided via the heel cup which is embelished with "Ultra 4D FWD" branding. Shifting your focus down below, the Futurecraft midsole has been completely blacked out for this release. First introduced in 2017, there's still nothing out there quite like 4D technology. This is then finished off with a complementary Continental rubber outsole for industry-leading traction and durability.
