Yeezy has not strayed from restocking some of their original and most iconic colorways over the last year, bringing back a multitude of early 350 V2 colorways as well as plenty of their other most popular models. On the heels of the long-awaited return of the Yeezy Boost 350 Turtledove, the Yeezy 500 Super Moon Yellow is set to make a comeback, though you won’t have to purchase a bundle of clothes to secure a pair.
Coming in the classic 500 construction of mesh, leather, and suede, the retro vibes are present with all of these materials layered throughout. A pastel yellow suede covers the toebox and runs to the bottommost eyestay, helping secure the tonal set of thick rope laces. The infinity-sign esque tongue features hits of 3M, also present on the oval-shaped suede eyestays that sit above a leather base. Pockets of mesh peek through the varying overlays throughout the profile, leading back to the heel tab and its stacked trefoil-like overlays. Underfoot, an adiPRENE+ cushioned midsole in the same tonal yellow as the rest of the silhouette sits above a non-marking rubber outsole in the same shade.
The adidas Yeezy 500 Super Moon Yellow is set to restock on Yeezy Day, August 2nd, 2022 in the US and August 3rd in the EU and Asia. Expect a release through either the adidas Confirmed app and/or Yeezy Supply. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $210.
