The natural progression of Ye and his design language at Yeezy has led us to the futuristic adidas Yeezy 700 V3, completely throwing the standard 700 dad shoe design out the window. First teased and released in 2019, the silhouette has seen a handful of colorful options alongside the usual earth-tones that dress almost every Yeezy. Now taking the same colorblocking as the previously released Copper Fade, the adidas Yeezy 700 V3 “Fade Carbon” is here.
The silhouettes refined shape comes with the usual details, a grey rubber toecap, black neoprene bootie construction internally, and the GITD side RPU exoskeleton that provides structure and durability. Shaking things up is the color blocking, utilizing a gradient fade design along the profile, starting out in a blue similar to the QNTM Mono Carbon’s color and transitioning into a pinkish-red towards the rear. The primeknit siding follows this same fade design, running down towards the toe in a multi-line pattern. Infinity laces are here to stay, though the packaging will likely include an extra set of standard rope laces. Rounding out the look is a white polyurethane midsole featuring a hit of red on the heel and white semi-translucent rubber outsole, all of which encapsulates the EVA cushioning underfoot.
The adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Fade Carbon is slated to release in May 2022 through adidas Confirmed, adidas.com/yeezy, Yeezy Supply, and select Yeezy retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $210.
