Dating back to a 2015 interview, Ye told the world that he wanted “Yeezys for everyone.” Essentially meaning that anyone who wanted a pair could attain them without having to pay astronomical resale prices that early adidas Yeezy releases held. Though it took a few years, his vision came to fruition once releases had higher stock numbers and restocks became the norm. For 2022, we’ve already seen 5 previous releases restock and plenty more are planned this year, including the upcoming adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner. You can add one more colorway to that list with news surfacing that the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Sesame” is restocking as well.
Taking it back to 2018, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Sesame" features the monochromatic shaded primeknit that was prevalent for 350 V2s at the time. Though the details aren’t visible immediately, there are still some differences to standard 350s. Hidden within the grey-toned primeknit that covers the upper is the famous lateral SPLY-350 stripe, this time coming curved and written in a mirrored cursive. Your usual Frankenstein stitching splits the sneaker in half, sitting below the thick rope laces coming in the same tonal grey. On the spine, you’ll find the fan-favorite pull-tab that continues the monochromatic look. Rounding everything out is the full-length Boost cushioning encapsulated by a light tan semi-translucent rubber midsole and gum rubber outsole.
The adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sesame is scheduled to restock sometime during the Summer of 2022 through adidas CONFIRMED, adidas.com/Yeezy, Yeezysupply, and select Yeezy retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $230. To stay up to date on this Yeezy 350 V2 restock and more, keep it locked to our Twitter and download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
