While the Air Jordan 7 has yet to make a comeback for its 30th Anniversary in 2022, Jordan Brand isn’t letting that sour the celebration. An Air Jordan 3 Retro in “Cardinal Red” is on the way, as is an all-new Air Jordan 1 Element inspired by the classic AJ 7 of the same name. For this AJ 1 though, instead of “Cardinal Red” being front and center, it serves as an accent.
Made to combat the elements of the harsh winter weather, the Air Jordan 1 Element was designed to keep your feet cozy, dry and warm, all while staying stylish. Waterproof GORE-TEX covers the toe box and underlays while premium nubuck leather in light curry dresses the overlays. Black accents the gusseted tongue, laces, plush collar lining and inner bootie. Cardinal Red is found via the branding on the tongue tag with 3M reflective branding via the Wings logo, Swoosh on the sides and GORE-TEX on the heel.
The Air Jordan 1 Element Light Curry is set to release May 24th, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes retailing for $200.
