Jordan Brand looked to tackle the platform look by debuting the Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low in February 2022. The sneaker boasted the classic look of the Air Jordan 1 that we all know and love, modified by a chunky, Air cushioned platform sole. While we have seen a slew of colorways come and go, with more still on the way, JB is set to debut the Air Jordan 1 Elevate High to close out 2022. After its initial colorways release, the AJ 1 Elevate High will continue its run into 2023, which includes an OG-themed "Royal" edition.
The Air Jordan 1 Elevate High "Royal" comes in a clean dark ash, hyper royal, and sail. The sneaker features an all-leather upper, made of hyper royal overlays and dark ash underlays. While this is not exactly a one-for-one iteration of the "Royal," it is extremely close. In fact, the dark ash is such as dark grey that it almost is black. Finishing out the look is a vintage, sail-colored midsole, a fan-favorite look of today, sitting atop a solid rubber royal blue outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Elevate High Royal W is set to release in January 2023. It will drop at Nike and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in women’s sizing, retail is set at $145.
