The Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low features a chunky, elevated midsole. Giving off a platform look, a few added details distinguish this model from its OG, and even more recent, retro counterparts. After seeing a few colorways released as well as the upcoming “Cement Grey Varsity Maize” pair, Jordan Brand is adding “Dark Beetroot” to its lineup.
White leather panels on the toe box, quarter panels, and the tongue are overlaid and wrapped by dark beetroot. The Swooshes work their way from inside the quarter panels to the back of the heel. The traditional tongue tag and back heel Wings logo are missing, but the stitching that would usually outline both is still evident, providing a more seamless look. A Jumpman logo is embossed into a textured tab on the heel of the midsole, serving as a subtle branding hit. The thicker sail-colored midsole sits on a beetroot platform outsole to complete the “elevated” look.
The Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low Dark Beetroot W is set to release in June 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming exclusively in women’s sizes, retail is set at $135.
