The colors red, grey, and white in some way, shape, or form are no strangers to Jordan sneakers. Although the Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low is a relatively new sneaker, Jordan Brand has made sure to release lots of different colorways to fill ladies shelves.
I challenge you to Google "UNLV Nike" and then look at the images of sneakers that come up. Now look at the images of this AJ 1 Elevate Low. See any similarities? This latest Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low mirrors the colorblocking that is synonymous with the "UNLV" Nike Dunk. The only difference in terms of color is the shades of grey. Whether you see this as a good or bad thing, I’m not to judge, but it provides those who missed out on the retail release of the Dunks to get a similar sneaker in terms of color placement. There's a dark grey toebox, tongue, side panels, and half of the inside collar. Varsity Red is found via the laces, toecap, eyestay, side Swooshes, heel, and the other half of the inside. A sail colored platform elevated foam midsole sits upon a red outsole to finish things off for this pair.
The Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low Dark Grey Varsity Red W is currently scheduled to release in July 2022, although some retailers have released them already. It will drop on Nike and select retailers worldwide, online and in-store. Retail is set at $135, exclusively in women's sizing.
