No, we’re not back in 2016 but anything “Panda” will get the people going in the sneaker world. Made popular with the Nike Dunk Low, various silhouettes across the Nike Inc. lineup (including Jordan Brand) have been given this treatment that causes people to go wild. Even with this year being the “Year Of The Rabbit,” 2023 looks to be the Year Of The Panda for Jordan Brand as we’ve seen plenty of iterations of the Air Jordan 1 come in this black/white combo. Now, the Golf-ready version of the AJ 1 High is getting infected with the PANDAemic.
Dressed in its usual all-leather construction, the sneaker takes cues from the “Panda” colorway we all know and love with its black leather overlays contrasting the white leather underlays below. These lighter shades are featured on the toebox, quarter panel, and tongue while the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and collar all come in a deep black hue. Black laces pop off the tongue and stop just below the black Jumpman Golf branding, however, the nearby Wings logo on the collar comes embossed in a stark white hue. A black Swoosh along the midfoot completes the upper while the white/black midsole and spike-less, golf-ready rubber outsole below finish the sneaker’s design.
The Air Jordan 1 High Golf Panda is set to release on January 13th, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
