The Air Jordan 1 continues to occupy the throne of the sneaker kingdom decades after its inception. Initially created for the hardwood floor, the silhouette has transcended its court origins to become a staple in streetwear and fashion thanks to classic colorways and collaborations from Jordan Brand. Today, we take a closer look at its modern successor, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2, in a brand-new Dark Powder Blue colorway.
The model maintains the same general shape as the original AJ1 High but adds updated cushioning in the sole unit and an upper crafted from synthetic materials. This version embraces dark powder blue accents on the toebox and heel overlay, providing an appealing contrast with the sail suede elements found on the mudguard, eyestays, and collar overlay. The tongue and laces continue this soft sail shade, giving the shoe a pleasing continuity. Bright blue branding is found atop the tongue, collar, and through the midfoot cutout. The quarter panel features a subtle silver hue, while a touch of purple graces the collar's mesh. A coconut milk-colored midsole sits atop a two-tone outsole in shades of blue and sail, adding the final touch to this chic design.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 Dark Powder Blue will release on February 13, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
